Garm can be summoned quickly throught the shadows of the worlds. This is accomplished by speaking an ancient phrase, "Ifuu dru-na khen.", in a whisper, Garm can be summoned rapidly as long as he has darkness to enter, running strange and foreboding passages till he reaches his master. Strangely, this phrase is one known by Glymn, Shiv remembers. But he can't remember why Glymn knew it.

When using Wretched Ridden Nightmare, Garm gains the Giant and Armored Hide Blights, the Talons and Toxin Afflictions, and Night Vision and Enhanced Sight poxes.
