Second Thrown Excellency (page 184) ^
You use this charm at the declaration stage, spending essence to add successes to a Thrown roll up to a limit of half Attribute + Thrown rating. Improvised Assassin's Trick (Abyssals 132) ^
Once an Abyssal with this Charm picks up a small object, it becomes a deadly weapon ready to serve her murderous will. Common improvised projectiles include playing cards, pebbles, coins, origami animals, flowers and prayer strips. Improvised projectiles have Speed 5, Accuracy -2, Damage +0L, Rate 3 and Range 10. Besides making sure the Abyssal is nearly always armed, this Charm grants another benefit. Throwing a weapon provided by this Charm negates the usual +2 difficulty for making a surprise attack in plain view—unless a target stays on guard because he already knows the Abyssal can turn anything into a weapon..
Cost: 2m; Type: Reflexive (1); Duration: Instant -- Keywords: Combo-OK,
Crypt Bolt Attack (Abyssals 134) ^
The Abyssal forms energy from their hands that can be thrown. If they punch with an affected hand, they do lethal damage, but blasts are more effective. Corpse-Body Resilience (Abyssals 149) ^

Raiton's Nimble Perch (Abyssals 164) ^
Deathknights move like the ghosts they lord over, stepping lighter than a bird over all obstacles. This Charm lets the Exalt automatically succeed on any valid Athletics action to keep his balance. Moreover, this Charm allows the Exalt to keep his footing on any surface at least as strong and wide as a human hair. He treats it as a three-footwide ledge capable of supporting a thousand pounds of weight when determining what movement and Athletics actions he can take and what penalties to them might apply.
Cost: 3m; Type: Reflexive (2); Duration: Scene -- Keywords: Combo-OK, Mirror (Graceful Crane Stance)
Shadow Races Light (Abyssals 166) ^
The Abyssal moves terribly fast, adding their Athletics to their Move or Dash speed limits.
Cost: 3m; Type: Reflexive; Duration: Scene -- Keywords: Combo-OK, Mirror (Lightning Speed)
Shadow Cloak Technique (Abyssals 171) ^
It is not merely the judgment of the Unconquered Sun that makes Abyssals creatures of darkness. Shadows are their element, hiding them from their prey until it' s too late. Purchasing this Charm gives Abyssals an artificial +3 specialty "In Darkness" for Stealth, though this bonus is not cumulative with normal specialties. Furthermore, whenever this artificial specialty applies to an action, Shadow Cloak Technique also doubles all bonus dice and/or successes received from stunts or Stealth Excellencies, although Excellency use remains capped by the usual limits for bonuses added by Charms.
Cost: --; Type: Permanent; Duration: Permanent -- Keywords: Mirror (Easily Overlooked Presence Method)
Unseen Wisp Method (Abyssals 171) ^
The Abyssal blurs and fades into the darkness between the strands of the Tapestry, outside fate and completely invisible except to those who share her insight into the Void’s purpose (i.e., those with an Abyss Mastery rating). This invisibility imposes a -2 external penalty to any attempt to notice or attack her. Ranged attacks against her become impossible (she is not a valid target) without the aid of magic or a stunt. The bonus adds two successes to contested Stealth rolls to avoid notice instead of adding to the onlooker’s difficulty (such as when reestablishing surprise).
As an additional benefit, the Abyssal is outside fate for purposes of Sidereal astrology. While the Charm lasts, the deathknight cannot be found on the Loom of Fate, astrological blessings and curses do not affect her, and she sees through the false identities created through resplendent destinies.
It is still possible for the Abyssal to be detected, making effective Stealth rolls as important as ever. The fact that the Abyssal may use that Stealth even in the absence of cover or concealment, however, provides a significant tactical opportunity for repeatedly setting up unexpected attacks.
Cost: 4m; Type: Simple; Duration: One Hour -- Keywords: Avatar (1), Combo-Basic, Spectral
Elementary Void Deduction
[First Investigation Excellency, Crime-Unveiling Wickedness] (4xp)
Seemingly unrelated facts suddenly come together, pieces of a puzzle left unseen before in his mind, and suddenly it is all terrifyingly clear to him.
Base Cost: 5 motes, 1 willpower
Optional: 1 mote per die added.
Effect: A simple allows a near instant investigation dramatic action without ripping apart the scene (-1 diff to harmful scenes, +1 to all others), and a reflexive adds dice.
Eternal Black Torment
[Second Thrown Excellency, Wounds Mean Nothing, God Slaying Torment] (4xp)
A whip of black flame surrounds Song's weapon or is it alone, cast out against a spirit, it crawls into them, devouring them from within before recoiling within Song's hand to feed his hunger for Essence. When struck, black flame gushes from the wound, slowing and stopping the attack (most painfully) and sealing it as if it never happened.
Base Cost: 0 motes, 1 willpower
Optional: 2 motes per success added, 4 motes to perfectly soak an attack, and 2 motes to tear apart a spirit.
Effect: A reflexive adds successes, a reflexive perfectly soaks, and another reflexive steals 2 times Song's Essence and destroys a spirit should they die to the attack.
