Indira is not well-known in the Ladder, but is eager to start learning. She has asked them for a favor in bringing her to America, and they expect her to repay it.
English is her second language, but she's been speaking it since school. Her native language is Hindi.
Indira was being groomed to take over her daddy's business (at least, that's what she thought--turns out, her father really wanted her husband-to-be to be the CEO while she ran everything from the background with no credit.) Regardless, she has a lot of practical experience in the world of business. 9-again on Asset skills (Politics, Academics, Persusasion).
Indira knows who's who in the international corporate world; which contractors are trustworthy and which should be avoided; which venture capitalists grind their acquisitions into dust and which produce results; which CEOs will backstab you for the slightest things and which will actually wait for a good opportunity.
Indira only agreed to live in a tiny apartment because she saw potential in it. She's since begun warping it to her tastes, and created a small shrine in the spare bedroom closet (which is a little bigger than it should be) which she uses as a sanctum.
Indira has been set up according to her lifestyle, though her living space has gone from spacious mansion with servants to tiny apartment. She still has an entire room devoted to her wardrobe and plenty of frivolous things, but she can't be as free with her spending money as she used to.
Indira's mentor, who is grooming her for membership in the Sisterhood of the Blessed, the Legacy that helped her get set up in the States.
