Thrown into the Void-lit World
Cost: 4m (+1wp); Mins: Stealth 5, Essence 3; Type: Supplemental Keywords: Avatar (3), Combo-OK, Delay (10), Dusk, Knockback Duration: Instant Prerequisite Charms: Unseen Wisp Method
While the Abyssal has learned to step between the threads of the world, now he may gift and horrify another with such. This charm enhances an attack and can therefore be used to supplement other abilities. On a successful attack, even if it causes no damage, if the Abyssal spends 1 willpower the force drives a victim through a crack in reality, giving all the benefits of Unseen Wisp Method (along with its weakness of being seen through by anyone with Abyss Mastery 1) as well as subjecting them to a number of penalties.
The victim is effectively blind and deaf due to external conditions, as while they are still able see and hear, the world around them assails them with sights and sounds from seemingly random (and incorrect) angles and directions. This inflicts a -2 external penalty to rolls based on sight or hearing. Note that senses of smell, taste (likely not useful) and touch are unaffected. The victim remains bedeviled this way for a scene.
At Essence 5+, the charm may be repurchased. This extends the length of time they are lost in the cracks of the world to (Essence) hours, and makes the victim dematerialized as well as invisible and somewhat senseless.
Shadows Fade Into Darkness
Cost: 5m; Mins: Stealth 4, Essence 3; Type: Simple Keywords: Avatar (2), Combo-OK Duration: Indefinite Prerequisite Charms: Shadow Cloak Technique
This charm quite simply erases all recordings of the Abyssal so cloaked. Most often darkness overtakes the Abyssal's nature. Either way, all signs of them are erased within 100 x Essence yards, be they pictures, visual recordings, audible recordings or the like. Note: This doesn't destroy recorded transcripts of events or similar writing, only direct "first hand" ways of experiencing the Abyssal's presence. By touching a picture that hasn't been erased, the Abyssal may spend two non-committed motes to mark that and all copies of that sort as being outside of his power forever.
Soul As Nothing Approach
Cost: 4m; Mins: Stealth 5, Essence 3; Type: Reflexive Keywords: Avatar (2), Combo-OK Duration: Day Prerequisite Charms: Shadows Fade Into Darkness
By casting one's self into the shadow of the void, their soul and essence seem to cease to be. This has two effects. First, the Abyssal has an Essence of 0 for purposes of Essence sight and anyone attempting to pierce this charm's power need beat the Abyssal in a roll-off where the Abyssal adds their Essence in automatic successes. Second, the Abyssal seems to be unimportant in the scheme of things. The Abyssal's seeming lack of essence is sensed by even normal people, who tend to disregard it as they might the most base object. They must make a Perception + Willpower roll at a difficulty of the Abyssal's Essence to notice her as anything but something without meaning in the observer's life. This requires an actual attempt at awareness of the environment. Of course, the Abyssal CAN choose to reveal themselves to people as they wish (such as any form of social or physical attack or obviously preparing for such).
