This page originated with James's character concept for Manfred (a Tremere historian).
I found the old online World of Darkness timeline from the mid-90s on the web and messed
with it a bit. The following is an abbreviated, updated chronology of important historical
events as they occurred in the history of the Kindred in relation to Eyes That Burn.

* -11000 - Agriculture begins in the Fertile Crescent.
* -10000 - The First City falls.
* -10000 - The Great Flood.
* -8300 - The Second City is built.
* -8000 - In the Jordan Valley a Neolithic culture comes into being. This leads to the Israelite tribes evolving.
* -7000 - The Second City falls. Haqim may have diablerized 2 of the 3 childer of Caine.
* -7000 - Sutekh (Set) settles around the Nile. He will spawn the Setites as his clan.
* -6997 - Tiamat is embraced by Araku-Ra. Urlon of Urek is slain by Tiamat.
* -6500 - Marduk wrests control of Damascus from Tiamat. Tiamat moves to the British Isles.
* -5000 - Baba Yaga is embraced by Absimiliard.
* -4500 - Araku-Ra Embraces Shaitan at this time. He is the Second to be Embraced by Araku-Ra. He lives in the ruins of the Second City
at Damascus for a time. He meets Baal and becomes his first follower.
* -4245 - Lower Egypt conquers Upper Egypt. Araku-Ra (later known as Ennoia, then Gangrel) disappears.
* -4000 - Farming comes to the British Isles.
* -3300 - Sutekh was being worshiped by some mortals as the God of Night and Darkness, and started to call himself Set.
* -3100 - Osiris takes control of Egypt and banishes Set.
* -3100 - Set returns and imprisons Osiris. Later Osiris escapes but is torn limb from limb.
* -3100 - Horus is turned into a Mummy when Isis attempts to heal him from injuries inflicted by Set.
* -3100 - Set's power is weakened by Horus's actions.
* -3099 - Isis restores Osiris to life. Set kills him again. Set withdraws from public view.
* -3099 - Khetamon flees as the last of Osiris's progeny. He doesn't stop until he reaches India.
* -3098 - Sahura visits Isis with a gift and is rewarded by her.
* -3000 - Khetamon perfects his discipline of Bardo and returns from hiding to create the Children of Osiris.
* -3000 - Athens and Troy are built at this time. Humans begin abstract mathematics.
* -3000 - Upper Egypt fights Lower Egypt.

* -2834 - The Sword of Nul is forged by Tiamat.
* -2800 - Stonehenge is built.
* -2780 - 2190 - The Pyramids are built.

* -2610 - Birth of Sethnakhte, the last ancient Mummy, during the reign of Pharaoh Khufu, aka. Cheops

* -2300 - The Sumerians first write about Gulfora.
* -2100 - Popularity of the Osiris cult; Eqyptian royalty promotes Amon-Ra cult
* -2000 - The start of the bronze age.
* -2000 - Improvements in agriculture occur.
* -2000 - The rise of the Egyptian pharaohs. The Middle Kingdom of Egypt flourishes.
* -2000 - Widespread cultivation in the British Isles.
* -1728 - Ankla Hotep is embraced by Smenkhara.
* -1728-1686 - Hammurabi rules in Babylon.
* -1650 - The Middle Kingdom starts to decline due to the efforts of the Mummies and the Children of Osiris.
* -1650 - The invasion of the Semitic; Baal -worshipping Hyksos.
* -1650 - Also around this time, the Aryan invaders, previously a minor presence, wipe out the Indus Valley culture. The Indus are
destined to become Dravidian untouchables and gypsies. Sara Kali leads her followers, mortal and otherwise, away to safety.
* -1500 - Agriculture improves to the point that human populations start increasing steadily.
* -1350 - Akhenaton? and Nefertiti (former ghouls of Khetamon) rule Egypt.
* -1300 - (15th dynasty, under Seti I) Kemintiri is embraced by Anubis.
* -1281 - Mithras is born.
* -1273 - Amen Khal? is born.
* -1258 - Mithras is embraced by Veddartha. This is the last reputed occurrence of an Antediluvian being seen. At least, Mithras
claims to be the childe of the Ventrue founder.
* -1250 - Shaitan settles in Central America.
* -1223 - Sethnakht becomes the pharaoh of Egypt. He upsets the Setites' control of Egypt during his reign.
* -1207 - Helena is embraced by Minos.
* -1200 - Meneleus is embraced by Troile.
* -1200 - First account of the Kindred rumored to appear at this time; later to be called the 'Voices of the Shadows', which the
Book of Nod? is based on.
* -1200 - Trojan War occurs.
* -1200 - Enkidu? is embraced by one of Marduk's childer in Sumer. The Gangrel continue to live in Ur until its destruction by
the Setites.
* -1173 - Amen Khal? attempts to have himself mummified. His attempt fails, but his service to the Cappadocians doesn't end.
* -1100 - The New Kingdom - Egypt rules from the Sahara to the Euphrates.
* -1032 - Nefertiti joins the Setites.
* -1000 - The Dionysian walks the earth. Kindred everywhere react to the rumor that Caine may have returned; the upheaval passes
quickly when this is shown to be false.
* -1000 - The Iron Age begins.
* -1000 - The Greek city states begin to flourish.
* -1000 - The Brujahs' influence over the Greeks reaches its peak.
* -1000-900 - Egypt loses control over the Near-Eastern provinces.
* -950 - The Children of Osiris disappear from Egypt. With this, the Gangrel never regain much influence in the Fertile Crescent.
* -900 - A being known as Heru-Behutet? and his warriors defeat the Setites and their allies in a great battle. Anubis is exiled
and his followers slaughtered. In his anguish, Anubis vows that "If he is to be exiled into the darkness, then that
darkness would become all-powerful."
* -814 - Carthage is founded.
* -760 - 13 Ventrue (led by Tinia) arrive in Italy with the Etruscans?.
* -753 - Rome is founded.
* -668-626 - Assyria ruled by Assurbanipal; destroys Thebes in Egypt.
* -650 - The Brujah quietly begin their reign of co-existence in Carthage.
* -648 - Assyria conquers Babylon.
* -640 - Scythian invaders weaken Assyria.
* -612 - The captial of Assyria, Nineveh, falls to Nabopalasser of Babylon.
* -598 - Babylonian occupation of Jerusalem (the 1st Exile).
* -587 - Destruction of Jerusalem.
* -540 - Pythagorean theory is invented along with the Laws of Conservation.
* -539 - Cyrus II of Persia conquers Babylon under Mithras's guidance.
* -500 - The British Isles progress to tribes of farmers and herders, guarded by a warrior elite.
* -500-400 - Carthage influence declines as stories of the Brujahs' reign there spread
* -457 - The age of Pericles starts in Greece.
* -450 - Carthagean Brujah and ghouls begin attacks against the Roman Kindred.
* -420 - First appearance of the Gypsies in India.
* -400 - Battle between a Scandinavian Brujah (Beowulf) and a Nosferatu (Grendel).
* -336 - Alexander the Great begins his conquest.
* -330 - Petaniqua? is embraced by Cybele the day Alexander the Great assumes the throne of Macedonia.
* -331 - Alexander the great conquers Babylon.
* -300 - The Ventrue fully control the Italian peninsula.
* -256 - The first Great Wall is built in China.
* -250 - The Chinese invent the binary number system.
* -220 - Romans begin to patrol the coast of Macedonia.
* -210 - A Celtic Druid creates the Phylacterty of Recorded Memory?.
* -200 - Louhi is embraced by Lerterimas of clan Malkavian. Ventrue control of Rome begins to decline.
* -173 - Brunhilde is born.
* -150 - Brunhilde is embraced by a Brujah.
* -149 - The third Punic War begins.
* -146 - Carthage is betrayed and sacked. The Brujah face a coalition of the Cappadocians, the Toreador, and the Malkavians
all under the control of the Ventrue of Italy. They burn the city for 17 nights. With the aid of Salubri, they
salt all the Earth around the city to keep the vampires in the ground.
* -132 - Saatet-ta? of clan Nosferatu is mummified.
* -91 - The social war occurs in Rome. Critias instigates this crisis, but his followers are put down by the Roman Ventrue.
* -55 - The first expedition of Julius Caesar reaches England.
* -50 - Setites regain 'some' control of Egypt using their agent Cleopatra.
* -50 - The Setites use Cleopatra to influence the Roman Senate.
* -46 - Caesar is appointed emperor of Rome.
* -45 - Caesar was named dictator for life of Rome.
* -43 - Claudius undertakes the conquest of Britain. Malkavians gain the upper hand over the emperors for the first time.
* -33 - Setites wipe out the cult of Isis.
* -30 - Egypt becomes a Roman province, and as a result Cleopatra commits suicide.
* -11 - Saul? conquers the Jordan Valley. Tombs of ancient Kindred are found and desecrated.
* 1 - Most of Britain is more or less peaceful, and numerous Roman towns start to form.
* 0 - Jesus of Nazareth is born.
* 1 - Lucian is embraced. He will become a Malkavian Justicar in the 20th century.
* 9 - German leader Arimnius defeats the Roman army.
* 33-34 - The execution of Jesus results in the downfall of the Hebrew uprising in Galilee.
* 33 - While Jesus is being crucified, a young Gypsy steals one of the nails, and was told by Jesus that his family will be
free of the commandment "Thou shalt not steal". -Gypsy Folklore.
* 33 - The Baali earn the eternal hatred of the other Kindred when they perform a bit of grave robbing in Jerusalem.
* 37 - Caligula is named Emperor of Rome.
* 37 - Setites manipulate the Romans into attacking the Nabataean Kingdom.
* 66 - The Toreador take control of Nero when he visits Greece. The Malkavians try to regain control but cause him to become
completely insane.
* 79 - Mt. Vesuvius erupts and destroys Pompeii.
* 87 - Gotsdam is embraced by Druidic Gangrel.
* 106 - Emperor Trajan finally conquers the Nabataeans.
* 106 - It was during this time that the Assamite clan saw a warrior know as Talaq. They decide to embrace him.
* 117 - The Roman Empire is at the height of its power.
* 3rd cent. - Due to the ongoing power struggles for control of the emperors, the Roman Empire starts to tear itself apart.
* 200 - Mayan Society starts to flourish.
* 325 - Ventrue force Emperor Constantine to call the Nicaean Council, but are unable to influence any of the decisions made.
* 400 - A breakaway group of mortal Baali followers moves into Europe and form their own society. Their descendants will
become known as The Order of Hermes?.
* 410 - Roman influence over Britain all but dies.
* 413 - The Cainite Heresy? is founded by a Byzantine priest called Procopius.
* 439 - The Kiasyd bloodline is created and breaks away from the Lasombra clan.
* 476 - Rome falls to attacking barbarians, due to the efforts of the Brujah and Lasombra.
* 515 - Guillaume is embraced by clan Brujah. He goes on to become Prince of Geneva.
* 550-650 - The Prophet Muhammad and his followers bring most of the tribes of the Arabian Peninsula under the religion
of Islam.
* 565 - First sightings of the Loch Ness Monster?, Scotland.
* 597 - Saint Augustine goes to England to convert the people.
* 600 - Mayan society suffers a period of decline.
* 600 - Due to the collapse of the Roman Empire, some Toreador elders slip into torpor, hoping to awaken in another time of
debauchery and excess.
* 632 - The prophet Muhammed dies.
* 754 - The Cainite Heresy? is uncovered due to errors made by a group in Ostia. But by now, the Cainite worship is too
extensive to destroy.
* 771 - Charlemagne begins to form his empire.
* 793 - The first recorded Viking raid on England takes place off the Northumbrian coast.
* 800 - Charlemagne is crowned emperor of all Europe by Pope Leo III.
* 806 - The Sword of Nul returns. It winds up in Bayt Al-Himah? "The house of Wisdom" where it sits on a shelf.
* 812 - Lasombra control of Christianity reaches its height with Charlemagne.
* 840 - Norwegians in Ireland found a city which will become Dublin.
* 848 - The magus Tremere is narrowly prevented from taking control of the entire Order of Hermes?.
* 866 - The Danes take York and begin to colonize north of England.
* 878 - Alfred the Great of Wessex wins the battle at Edgington and forces the Danes to agree to a frontier.
* 879 - The Cainite Heresy worship has become formalized.
* 10th cent. - 12th cent. - The Toreador start to lose control of Byzantium to Brujah, Malkavians and Tzimisce, leading
to Byzantium's collapse.
* 900 - The Mound-Builder empires centered on Cahokia in the Mississippi valley starts to flourish.
* 911 - Norwegians in France are granted land. The Duchy of Normandy is born.
* 963 - Shaitan's descendents begin to slowly disappear from North America, paving the way for later conquest by
European Kindred.
* 1000 - The Order of Hermes first identifies the loss of magick in the world and realizes that it may have something
to do with the influence of vampires.
* 1000 - The entire Viking world accepts Christianity.
* 1000 - Pueblo Indians withdraw to canyon and cliff communities.
* 1000 - Mayan civilization begins to rise again in the Yucatan.
* 1000 - Leif Ericson discovers Vinland
* 1050-1100 - For the first time the whole of England is under the control of a single ruler, Cnut the Great who also
ruled Norway and Denmark.
* 1010 - Caliph Haker renounces the holy city of Jerusalem.
* 1013 - Goratrix captures a member of clan Tzimisce, forces him to turn his two apprentices into vampires, and then
kills him. He takes his apprentices back to his Chantry to experiment.
* 1013 - Tremere, Etrius, Goratrix, Meerlinda and four other Hermetics? are turned into vampires.
* 1020 - Tremere locates Saulot's resting place, and diablerizes him. Heady with his newfound power, he initiates a
war of conquest against the Tzimisce.
* 1022 - Infighting among the new vampires grows so high that is it rumored that Tremere himself is forced to Blood
Bond the Council of Seven, which is still denied by the clan to this night.
* 1022 - The Tzimisce form alliances with the Gangrel and Nosferatu in Eastern Europe to make war on the Tremere.
Chantry after Chantry falls until Goratrix perfects the Gargoyles and tells them to "Go forth and multiply."
After making alliances with the Ventrue and Toreador, the Tremere reverse the tide of the war and all but
destroy the Tzimisce Voivodate.
* 1066 - Edward the confessor dies in England leading to war.
* 1066 - The battle of Hastings places William the Conqueror on the throne as the first Norman king of England.
* 1072 - The Crusades begin. Rumors that they are a cover for a Kindred campaign against the Baali circulate.
* 1077 - Father Iago? is embraced by Le Fanu?. The Malkavians gain the upper hand in the Church.
* 1086 - All of England is subdued under Norman rule.
* 1096 - The War of the Guilds starts, and lasts for another 150 years.
* 1098 - The Sword of Nul is stolen by the Thief of Bagdad, a Ravnos.
* 1099 - The Thief of Bagdad is found dead in Jerusalem.
* 1099 - Jerusalem falls to the Christians.
* 1100 - Gratiano? is embraced by a Lasombra. He eventually becomes one of the leaders of the Anarch Revolution and
then a founder of the Sabbat.
* 1121 - An army of Gargoyles turns the tide against an Inconnu in the Tremere/Inconnu war.
* 1128 - The Poor Knights of the Temple of Solomon (called the Templars) are officially recognized by the pope.
* 1134 - First settling of Berlin area by Albrecht the Bear.
* 1137 - Erik Eigermann? is driven into torpor in Berlin by Karl Schrekt, the demon hunter from Vienna. The event
heralds the coming of the Inquisition in later centuries.
* 1143 - Helena Embraces Galabraith? who will become the Cardinal of Mexico.
* 1197 - Francois Villon is embraced. He will go on to become Prince of All France.
* 1198 - Pope Celestine II dies and is replaced by Pope Innocent III.
* 1199 - King Richard is killed in battle and succeeded by his vicious brother John.
* 1199 - The Tremere Council of Seven have a meeting to establish the Tremere Pyramid.
* 1201 - Pope Innocent III calls for the Albigensian Crusades.
* 1205 - Pope Innocent III instigates the Fourth Crusade. This will eventually lead to the Inquisition.
* 13th cent. - The bubonic plague spreads across Europe, killing 1/3 of the population. Entire provinces become
devoid of people. Widespread Kindred infighting and starvation ensues. Older Kindred take the best areas
for themselves, causing younger Kindred to abandon secrecy in desperate feeding raids.
* 13th cent. - &14th cent. The Inquisition Wars. The Anarchs kill anyone, the Assamites come into Europe, and the
Lasombra and Tzimisce elders are decimated.
* 1205 - Goratrix infiltrates the Church and takes control of it. He uses it to destroy enemies of the Tremere.
The Council decides that Goratrix has overstepped his bounds and calls him before them. Goratrix runs away
and hides after his power is taken away by Tremere.
* 1215 - King John signs the Magna Carta.
* 1215 - The Anarchs overthrow the Ventrue in Strasbourg, Germany.
* 1231 - Pope Gregory IX officially founds the Society of Leopold?.
* 1233 - The Albigensian crusade winds down.
* 1240 - The Anarch revolt gains widespread support and becomes a serious danger to the elders.
* 1252 - Pope Innocent IV authorizes the use of torture in the Spanish inquisition. This is because he has been
made aware of the existence of the Kindred at this time.
* 1252 - The first Prince (a Lasombra) is caught by the Inquisition.
* 1258 - The Barons' Revolt takes place in England.
* 1260 - The Mamluks come to power, aided by Talaq of clan Assamite.
* 1300 - Most of the 9th and 10th generation Kindred in London die, due to feeding on tainted vitae. Mithras takes
advantage of this by capturing the head of the Tremere Chantry and makes an example of him.
* 1300 - The Mound-builder empire declines.
* 1313 - The Inquisition winds down. The Society of Leopold? takes up the slack.
* 1314 - The Templars are denounced for heresy, and as it's last Grand Master (Jacques de Molay) is burned at the
stake, he curses those who conspired against him.
* 1321 - The Aztec civilization is on the rise in Mexico.
* 1331 - The Aztecs begin to build their empire. Shaitan's descendants order the deaths of all shape-shifters
found throughout Mexico.
* 1345 - The Anarchs supposedly slay the Tzimisce Founder.
* 1381 - The peasants revolt takes place in England. Brujah use it as cover in a failed attempt to oust the
London Ventrue.
* 1381 - Tyler is embraced by Robin Leeland of clan Brujah.
* 1394 - The Tremere Council member Meerlinda, along with the Ventrue Hardestadt, propose a world-wide league
of vampires. Few listen.
* 1395 - The Ventrue Hardestadt is supposedly killed when the Brujah Tyler attacks his castle.
* 15th cent. - The Condotierri are sworn in as sacred members of the Society of Leopold?. These are the protectors
of the Society and act as guards.
* 1420 - The Anarch revolution reaches it's peak.
* 1435 - The Camarilla is ratified in Venice by the Ventrue, Tremere, and Toreador. Invitations are sent to
the other clans.
* 1435 - The Cappadocians announce that Augustus Giovanni is their new leader, and that they will bear his name
from this time forward. Diablerie, now a terrible crime by the new Camarilla traditions, is widely
suspected. The Giovanni rescind their invitation to join the Camarilla.
* 1438 - The Incan civilization starts to rise in Peru.
* 1441 - The Tremere find the Sword of Nul and store it in a safe place.
* 1450 - The Mayan civilization comes to an end.
* 1450 - The Renaissance period begins.
* 1450 - The Toreador Rafeal de Corazon makes his famous speech which leads to the Camarilla and the Masquerade
spreading into much of Europe.
* 1451 - Etrius moves the Tremere from the Coeris Chantry in Transylvania, to his old one in Vienna.
* 1453 - Copernicus releases his paper, De Revolutionibus Orbium Caelestium heralding the rise of modern science.
* 1456 - The discovery of an ancient tomb near Damascus, and the subsequent disappearance of its occupant creates
a stir among Kindred scholars. The Servitors of Irad are formed.
* 1460 - The War of the Roses takes place in England.
* 1462 - Constantinople falls to Muslim Turks.
* 1486 - The Camarilla declare a blood hunt against clan Assamite.
* 1492 - Columbus reaches America.
* 1493 - The 'end' of the first Anarch Revolution.
* 1493 - The signing of the Convention of Thorns. The Assamites agree to cut all ties to the Anarchs and to stop
diablerizing other clans. The Tremere decide to place a blood curse upon the Assamites to make sure.
The Brujah agree to join the Camarilla if the widespread practice of blood bonding childe to sire
is abolished.
* 1493 - The Anarchs who refused to participate in the Convention of Thorns meet for the Signing of the original
Code of Milan?, which leads to the formation of the Sabbat.
* 1493 - Most Gargoyles flock to Paris to hunt down the remaining Anarch leaders in Europe. Some disappear and
are rumored to break their blood bond to the Tremere. A few even join the Anarchs.
* 1494 - The Assamites' secret mountaintop fortress is 'accidentally' discovered by a young Nosferatu. The newly
formed Camarilla initiate a full-scale assault on it.
* 1496 - The signing of the Treaty of Tyre; the Assamites surrender to the Camarilla.
* 1496 - Most Assamites accept the Tremere curse, creating two sections of the clan, the 'cursed' and the
'unconquered'.
* 16th cent. - European Kindred send agents to the New World. Gangrel from both sides of the Atlantic encounter
each other for the first time since Shaitan left the Fertile Crescent.
* 16th cent. - Councilor Meerlinda, working though Dr John Dee, encourages British exploration of the New World.
* 16th cent. - The Ottoman Turks gain control of the Arabian Peninsula, but are only after taxes.
* 16th cent. - The inscription known as 'Voices from the Shadows' is combined with other records and legends. Some
copies of the Book of Nod? are actually printed before a harsh crackdown by Camarilla authorities. Nearly all
of the texts are found and destroyed.
* 1515 - Rambam performs a ritual to return Talaq to human form and grant him extended life. In return Talaq
influences the Ottoman ruler (Suleiman the Magnificent) to raise a wall around Jerusalem and protect
the city. Talaq then fakes his death, so he could escape the Assamites.
* 1517 - Martin Luther's 95 theses set up things for the Christian Reformation.
* 1519 - Cortes arrives in Mexico with 600 men, a cannon, Helena, and Bernardino. He finds and slays a Kindred
who calls himself Quetzalcoatl. The slain Kindred's childe Motolini is Blood Bound to Helena and will
eventually change his shape to match that of Helena's. Cortes claims Mexico for Spain, with the help of
Helena and Motolini. Helena moves north into modern America, leaving behind one of her Progeny,
Galbraith?, who becomes the Prince of Mexico City.
* 1520 - A revolt kills 400 Spanish and the Aztec empire is reestablished.
* 1521 - Hernan Cortes returns and retakes Mexico in 75 days. He brings with him weapons, the Inquisition, and
the Sabbat. The Sabbat recruit Galbraith?. She will eventually become the Sabbat Cardinal for all
of Mexico.
* 1526 - Hunedoare Castle? falls to old clan Tzimisce, and the Sabbat largely disappear from eastern Europe
for some time.
* 1531 - The Virgin of Guadalupe is first seen. To this date, no one knows for sure what she was.
* 1533 - The reign of Ivan the Terrible begins in Russia.
* 1535 - Jacques Cartier discovers the St. Lawrence River and sails up it to what is now Montreal, claiming
Canada for France.
* 1550 - The Renaissance period begins to wind down.
* 1558 - Elizebeth I ascends the throne in England.
* 1560 - The Spanish and Portuguese claim much of South and Central America, and Kindred flock to the Americas
including some Setites.
* 1563 - A general outbreak of bubonic plague strikes Europe. A second Anarch movement briefly flares up.
* 1565 - The Sabbat make a general blitz on all of Europe.
* 1571 - Kepler formulates his laws of motion.
* 1579 - Madame Guil is embraced by the Baron Volgirre of clan Toreador.
* 1584 - Ivan the terrible dies, ending his reign in Russia.
* 1585 - The Ottoman Empire comes to an end.
* 1588 - The Spanish Armada attacks England and is decimated.

itself a Camarilla island in the midst of Sabbat towns and lupine-infested countryside.

* 1990 - The lupines of Belle Isle attack deep into Detroit, striking at Kindred havens.
The Sabbat also mounts a full-scale assault on the Prince's haven, nearly slaying
the Primogen council during a meeting.
* 1991 - Edmund Ryecroft is removed from power on rumors that he is insane. Jarvis Burleigh,
Ventrue Primogen of New Orleans and childe of late Prince Archimedes takes power.
* 1993 - The Prince of Chicago declares a Blood Hunt on all lupines. Lupines and Sabbat
assault Chicago, destroying almost half the Kindred. News of this unholy alliance
sends shivers through the other Kindred cities.
* 1993 - The MASK is formed in Milwaukee. The Prince of Milwaukee is killed by the MASK.
* 1993 - Mayor Dennis Archer takes office in Detroit, promising downtown redevelopment and
an era of cooperation with the suburbs.
* 1994 - The Michigan state House draws up a 21-point plan for improving Detroit city planning and
growth management. Little of the plan ever becomes implemented.
* 1995 - The population of greater Detroit is estimated at 4.2 million mortals, 110 Kindred,
no Garou and scores of ghouls.
* 1997 - Hong Kong is returned to the Chinese. The Hong Kong Primogen council disbands
and its members return to Europe.
* 1998 - The Anarch Free States are invaded by a large force of strange eastern Kindred.
Taken almost completely unprepared, the Free States fall one by one until only
the Barony of South Central Los Angeles remains.
* 1998 - The eastern Kindred send envoys to the Camarilla Prince of Las Vegas and the
Sabbat Archbishop of Tijuana proposing a truce. Both sects accept the truce but
quietly begin preparing for war.
* 1998 - The Camarilla places the Domain of Detroit into a state of bad standing after
visiting dignitaries disappear while attending a conclave there. Prince Jarvis Burleigh
is ousted from power by the Detroit Primogen, and allegedly joins the Sabbat.
* 1998 - The Sabbat assault Detroit once again, and appear to take over the city, at least
for a time. A Camarilla crusade formed of Kindred from neighboring cities is sent
in to drive the Sabbat out.
* 1999 - The Camarilla regain a firm foothold in Detroit and Ventrue Primogen Samuel Godkin
becomes Prince.
* 1999 - Casinos open in Detroit, drawing some suburbanites back downtown for the first time
in a generation.
* 1999 - A massive earthquake strikes central Romania. Clan Tremere convenes a worldwide
conference to discuss the implications of heightened mortal interest in their homeland.
* 2000 - The population of greater Detroit is estimated at 3.6 million mortals, perhaps 125
Kindred of various affiliations, no Garou and scores of ghouls and ghoul animals.
* 2000 - Archimedes suddenly returns and reclaims his old position as Prince of Detroit.
* 2001 - Prince Archimedes institutes a wave of "reforms" to secure and stabilize Detroit for
the Kindred once again. Anarchs and Caitiff are driven out of the city and the Sabbat
aren't seen in Detroit for several years.
* 2001 - Al Qaeda crashes planes into the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon
building. The Camarilla curtails international travel by Kindred.
* 2002 - Travel inconveniences encourage Princes to trade ambassadors with their neighbors.
* 2003 - The United States launches an unprovoked war on Iraq. Rumors circulate that the
Camarilla uses the turmoil there to root out and destroy remnants of the Baali.
